Montgomeryville Impact Thrift hosts 2nd Annual SpringFest featuring DIY Workshop

What:  2nd annual SpringFest event! SpringFest is free, family-friendly event that will feature children’s attractions, all day giveaways, a DIY workshop and live music!

The DIY Workshop“From Inspiration to Creation”, will run from 12-1pm and feature Beth Allen from DIY HIPchicks.  Beth will show you the basic steps to repurpose an old dresser into a bar resulting in a unique and functional furniture piece. The audience can learn tips for applying paint finishes, adding stemware holders, creating wine bottle cubbies, storage and more using paint, fabric, cork, paper and other surprise creative elements.  Beth’s workshop is sponsored by Dan Collins, Painting Contractor and Alliance Adjustment Group.

Tara Metz ads her artistic talents to our SpringFest Event, offering free caricatures to young people at Impact Thrift Stores Feasterville SpringFestBeth Allen strives to empower women to feel confident and capable when handling home DIY projects.  She makes recurring DIY expert appearances on 6ABC (Saving with 6 ABC) and NBC10 (NBC 10! SpringFest’s Fun Zone, for children of all ages, will offer free caricatures by Tara Metz from 12-2pm along with other activities.

Between 11am-12noon, John Alberto’s “One Man Band” will be sure to entertain with live music.

Heaven’s Treasures was organized in December of 2016 with a mission of operating a chain of retail stores that will allow second chance employment, financially support charities and give affordable shopping experiences to the greater community while keeping with its corporate purpose, to glorify God throughout the community and world in which we live and work. In February 2017, they acquired Impact Thrift Stores Hatboro and Bristol locations. On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Impact Thrift Stores in Feasterville, Montgomeryville and Norristown will also become Heaven’s Treasures Thrift and Value Stores!
