Impact Thrift Stores, Inc. is proud to congratulate Kathy Faustino as our 2015 Volunteer of the Year. Impact Thrift will join dozens of area non-profit organizations to honor key volunteers from Bucks and Montgomery County agencies at the third annual Volunteer of the Year Recognition Event on April 16, 2015.
Kathy signed on to volunteer in 2013 while she was shopping at Impact Thrift’s Feasterville store. “Impact Thrift quickly became one of my favorite shopping locations once I learned of the mission to support so many local charities,” she told us. “The Feasterville super-sized store is immaculate and the treasure hunt within is amazing as new items arrive in the store every day!”
Our Feasterville customers, managers and sales associates are happy that Kathy’s enthusiastic volunteer service continues to further our mission. She has logged over 350 hours volunteering at Impact Thrift. Impact Thrift has been able to convert donated goods into more than $2M in financial support to area charities, thanks to our generous neighborhood donors and our great volunteers.

Kathy uses her pleasant manner, customer service skills and smiling persistence as a volunteer giving back to the community. Her dependable service working with Bric-a-Brac area manager, Barbe Humphries, and with many other volunteers and staff members insures an amazing shopping experience day after day. “The friendly, hard working employees, wonderful volunteers and delightful customers enrich and brighten my days,” Kathy asserts.
Kathy has lived in Bucks County most of her life and enjoyed working in medical sales before retiring a few years ago. Kathy and husband, Marty, have two grown children and two adorable grandsons. Kathy has told us that spending time with her family, reading, and of course, volunteering at Impact Thrift are most important to her. She has told us, “I look forward to many more years of volunteering and supporting the mission that makes Impact Thrift an amazing organization.”
The Volunteer of the Year Recognition Event is organized by the Central Bucks YMCA and will be held at Warrington Country Club on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
