All Thrift Crawl participants gather for a group photo outside Impact Thrift Bristol Fashion OUTLET in front of our luxury bus.

A Thrift WHAT??!

Search “Crawl Events” and you’ll find a gazillion Pub Crawls as well as a Tapas (small plate) Crawl,  a Lit (poetry reading) Crawl, a Gallery Crawl, a Tech Crawl… and even a Zombie Crawl!

So why not a Thrift Crawl!

Thrift Crawl participants register at Impact Thrift Feasterville at 9am on Saturday October 24, 2015 for our first Thrift Crawl

On Saturday, October 24, Impact Thrift hosted our first ever Thrift Crawl… so much fun!

Our motto for the day… Think Pink and Live Green!

Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 100% of each ticket sold was donated to the Healing Consciousness Foundation, a non-profit organization in Bucks County, PA, dedicated to improving the quality of life for those at high risk for or diagnosed with breast cancer.

Ann Griffiths, Executive Director of the Healing Consciousness Foundation and Lindsay Varzaly, Community Outreach Liaison plan the day as our first Thrift Crawl starts at Impact Thrift Feasterville store

This seriously fun day started at our Feasterville store as Crawlers… both men and women, checked in, proceeded to fill their carts and shop enthusiastically before boarding the bus at 10:30.

The bus ride itself was an event, as we solved word puzzles presented by our Fun Ambassador, Wally Grummun, heading to our Montgomeryville store!

Wally gave us some sage words of advise in for form of spoken song before heading into the Montgomeryville store…

Once inside the store Impact Thrift Crawlers commandeered all of the shopping carts and making a serious dent in their clothing and bric-a-brac departments! So much to shop for.. so little time!Montgomeryville Impact Thrift Store Manager, Rick Rogers and staff dress in pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month during our Impact Thrift Crawl

After shopping Montgomeryville, we again boarded the bus and enjoyed a box lunch courtesy of Impact Thrift! Salads, hoagies and sandwiches along with chips and bottles of water were served during the ride to our new Bristol Fashion OUTLET.Lunch was provided by Mystic Pizza in Montgomeryville and served during the bus ride from Montgomeryville Impact Thrift Store to Impact Thrift Bristol Fashion OUTLET at the Thrift Crawl continued...

During this second leg of our bus ride, we learned more about the Healing Consciousness Foundation from Executive Director Ann Griffiths. We also realized just how many fellow crawlers and their friends and families have been touched by breast cancer.

Thrift Crawler shopping at Impact Thrift Bristol Fashion OUTLETOur final stop was at Impact Thrift Stores new Fashion OUTLET in Bristol PA. Again, our participants filled shopping cart after shopping cart with gently-used and brand new clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories. Bargains galore!

Thank goodness our bus had a large luggage/cargo space! We filled it with purchases at each of our 3 stops!

So many photos… so much fun!

Perhaps you will join us next time?!
