"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" - Martin Luther King, Jr.  Regional Collection Drive Event

Monday, January 11 through Monday January 18, 2016

At Impact Thrift Stores, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a way to transform Dr. King’s legacy and teachings into acts of service and generosity that empower and strengthen our local communities. To honor the life and works of Dr. King, Impact Thrift is going region-wide to collect clothing and shoes to benefit local charities whose missions support families and children in need–by addressing hunger and homelessness, children’s services, education, and fulfilling critical unmet needs in our community.

With the support of our MLK Day of Service community partners, and through the generosity of donors, we will see many lives changed for the better.

By dropping off donations during Impact Thrift’s MLK week-long donation drive, donors provide their goods…for a greater good, which is the greatest way to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. All of the donated items will be either sold or responsibly recycled.

We encourage you to get involved and show your support by dropping off your gently-used clothing and shoes at various, local, community-minded organizations who are participating as drop-off locations across the Greater Philadelphia area:
