The Variety Club 13th Annual Annie Madden Sunshine Games

Variety Club presents the 13^th Annual Annie Madden Sunshine Games held in memory of a beloved counselor, Annie Madden, who passed away tragically in a car accident in the summer of 1999.  The Sunshine Games pay tribute to a cherished friend by bringing together community members to interact alongside Variety’s campers in Olympic-style games.  One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the summer, the Sunshine Games draw campers, alumni and community members to Variety Club Camp to make new friends, reunite with familiar faces and celebrate the summer! This year’s Sunshine Games will have an “Olympics in London” theme!

This year, Variety’s Vocational Program will also hold the Impact LIVE Collection Drive. Throughout the day, friends and family can drop off their gently-used items and Variety’s Vocational Program will sort the items and load Impact Thrift’s truck.  The the Impact LIVE program, the campers have had a hands-on opportunity to plan, organize, advertise and carryout a service project while learning about different employment opportunities at Impact Thrift.
